?Not all the cities and fortresses of Cilicia are presented in the book, as the existing extensive scientific and descriptive literature is in foreign languages and is scattered in special librarian funds and archives, thus it’s unavailable for the Armenian reader. Another reason is that experts studying the Armenian monuments, located in today’s Turkey’s territory, face many obstacles, which means any survey will remain incomplete up until new survey results are incorporated in it.
