My Grandpa Said

“Besides conveying happy and lively mood, this beautifully illustrated jolly book will also arm children with knowledge. For instance, if children attentively read or learn the poems by heart, they will remember once and for all that wolves like to eat lambs, cats like to store milk and yogurt, that the cat and the dog are in a constant fighting… The book will also guide children to the classical literature; grandpa’s stories will remind them of famous poems like Puy-Puy Mouse or the Stealer Cat so much loved by their parents and grandparents. The author has an interesting way of telling the stories, each time starting it by the sentence: “Once my grandpa said…” which implies that his stories have very old roots and one should know them.”
