About Aram Pachyan

Aram Pachyan (born 1983) is a contemporary Armenian writer born in Vanadzor. Trained in law at Yerevan State University, he began publishing fiction in Armenian literary journals in the 2000s.

His books Robinson, Goodbye, Bird, P/F, and Ocean use fragmented narration and stream-of-consciousness techniques to explore memory, military service, alienation, and life in post-Soviet Armenia. P/F received the European Union Prize for Literature in 2021.
