Henrikh Mkhitaryan comes from a football family, inheriting his talent and professional path. Born in Armenia, he grew up in France as his father played in Ligue 2. Hamlet Mkhitaryan was one of the strongest forwards in Armenian football history. He died of brain cancer at the age of 33, when Henrikh was only 7 years old. The young Henrikh honorably continued his father's football journey. Although for some time after his father's death he couldn't bring himself to touch a ball, he promised himself to reach where his father couldn't. At just 14, he went to Brazil to train at the "São Paulo" club. There, he developed his playing technique, mastered a new, creative style of football, and learned a new language: Portuguese. During his career, he wore the jerseys of "Pyunik," "Metalurh," "Shakhtar," Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Arsenal. In 2019, he moved to Italy, playing for "Roma" for three years. On July 2, 2022, he officially joined Simone Inzaghi's "Inter" and immediately became one of the "Nerazzurri's" mainstays. The book is a touching story of a son's longing and about his father, Hamlet Mkhitaryan, whose untimely loss left a deep mark on his life and became a driving force.
