This is the second book of Good Tales which includes 21 tales, taken from Marzban-Nameh and retold in a simple and understandable language. Just like Kalila and Dimna, it’s one of the most important books of Persian-language literature, a literary creation which is around 650 years old.
?The original of Marzban-Nameh consists of about 70 tales, some of them are written in the language of animals, the others have been taken from old legends and historical events. However, not all of them are attractive or necessary for today, thus, best ones have been selected and included in this book. These are tales which can always and everywhere teach something to the reader.
