Description
Books also have their destiny. The fate of the novel "Flowering Barbed Wire" was typical of the Soviet publishing house, which adhered to the stereotypes of the communal two-faced ideology of socialist realism. On the one hand, the cult of Stalin was criticized from the high tribunes of party conventions, mass repressions were exposed, and on the other hand, the formation of public opinion on these issues was limited. That is why the novel, written in 1965, was published only a quarter of a century later, during the Gorbachev Reconstruction, and soon became one of the books on the readers' table.
