Ler Kamsar (Aram Tovmasyan) is one of the greatest Armenian satirists. Despite his large literary legacy, many of Kamsar's works were not published due to the political conditions of the time. However, even the feuilletons published in the press attest to the sharpness of his humor, social sensitivity, and literary mastery. The collection "Animal Congress" includes works by Ler Kamsar that honorably reflect his response to the social, educational, economic, and political changes that took place in Van, then in the Republic of Armenia, Soviet Armenia, and the world.
