Description
The novel "Rock Wagram" (1951), which was first published in Eastern Armenian translation, presents a new, familiar and unknown Saroyan. In the story of the American-Armenian boy, who rose from the bartender to the level of a Hollywood star, the Saroyan motives of the search for identity, the dichotomous consciousness of Diaspora Armenians, family ties, broken personal life were combined with sorrowful bitter thoughts or a unique sense of humor, wonderful madness and true Christianity. "Rock Wagram" is a unique work in terms of content, egg and structure, as much as Saroyan is expected.
