About Narine Kroyan
Born in Kirovakan, now Vanadzor, Narine Kroyan trained in economics and has combined teaching with a sustained literary career. She began publishing fiction in periodicals before releasing collections of stories, novellas, and children’s tales.
Kroyan’s work has received several Armenian literary awards. Books such as Bella Belladonna, Bitter Born, and Time of the Flies bring together social observation, memory, moral pressure, and the inner lives of characters facing difficult circumstances.
