About Ruben Hovsepyan
Born in Yerevan, Ruben Hovsepyan studied geology before turning to literature and screenwriting. He held leading editorial positions at Nairi Publishing House and Nork magazine and was active in the Writers’ Union of Armenia.
Hovsepyan published novels and stories noted for timely subjects and ethical complexity. He also translated major authors into Armenian, including Leo Tolstoy and Gabriel García Márquez, and contributed to Armenian cultural and public life for decades.
