About Vahram Martirosyan
Born in Gyumri, Vahram Martirosyan studied Armenian philology, literature, psychology, and pedagogy. He worked in journalism and television before concentrating on literature and co-founded the influential nonconformist journal Bnagir.
His fiction, poetry, essays, and screenplays range from post-Soviet satire to historical and psychological narratives. The novel Landslide became a bestseller and was translated abroad, while later work continued his exploration of politics, memory, identity, and literary form.
