This book of the series "Armenian classics" is devoted to Nar-Dos - a prominent Armenian prose-writer, novelist. It contains the works of the author, his biography with additional details, interesting information and fragments of his life, as well as quotes by famous people about Nar-Dos. The book is aimed at teachers of the Armenian language and Literature, pupils and generally people interested in Literature. Approved by RA National Institute of Education as an additional educational manual.
Nar-Dos started his literary career in the 80s of the XIX century. At the beginning he wrote poems, later short stories, and since 1886 he began writing novels. His language and works represent a new level in the modern Armenian language and the Armenian prose.
