About Nar-Dos

Nar-Dos (1867–1933), born Mikayel Hovhannisian in Tiflis, was an Armenian writer and journalist. He began with poetry and drama before developing the realist prose for which he is best known.

Works such as The Killed Dove, The Death, Our Yard, Anna Saroyan, and Me and Him examine moral conflict, love, poverty, and the pressures of urban society with psychological precision and compassion.
