Description
Seth, who was called Yerani Seth after his mother, was the best sower in the village. Every spring he sowed the fields and cultivated the soil. One spring, Seth, leaving the seed half-finished, joined a group of peasants fighting against the whites. In the evening, the Red Cavalry entered the village, and only the next day they brought home the body of the murdered sower. Two young workers who came to the village during the November holidays presented the village with a curtain, which they hung in the church that had been turned into a club. A sower was painted on the curtain. "The curtain flapped lightly, the sower folded and from below it seemed as if the sower was walking, and the reeds were swaying from the coolness of the river."
