Description
The Ghost of the Unspent Love is a psychological-philosophical book by the modern Greek writer Maro Vamvounaki. In a consumer society, egotism has enclosed the individual by its own bark and has made it difficult for him to communicate sincerely with the outside world. To overcome his inner problems, the person should first go to the past and get to know himself. Vamvounaki considers that the key to happiness lies in rediscovering the pure love for people and God, the desire and readiness for self-devotion. Maro Vamvounaki is one of the most famous and prolific modern writers in Greece, who lives and works in Athens. Known as a novelist, however, Vamvounaki has recently switched to psychology (she is also a psychologist by profession). Тhe many problems arising from human egocentrism, feelings of unhappiness and loneliness lie at the heart of her works.
