Description
The first novel of the "Motherland" trilogy, "Flag", is written on the principle of a combination of public discourse, screenplay and poetic prose. Through the reinterpretation of the national symbols of Armenia, the author artistically presents the current Armenian reality, the representatives of the sexual minority seeking happiness in the conditions of that reality. The main characters are three young people, one of whom is a transvestite who sings in a nightclub and is expelled from his father's house, and the other two are a loving couple. When one of the three does not return from the army, the others face a turning point: to leave or to stay in Armenia?
