The study is dedicated to the role and significance of bread and salt in the daily life, customs, and traditions of the Armenian people. The book mentions different types of bread according to settlements and preparation methods, but especially emphasizes the supernatural features attributed to salt, bread, and related objects, and the various magical functions derived from them, as well as national forms of hospitality. The study was conducted based on ethnographic, folkloric, archaeological, and religious sources.
