Description
Dido Sotiriou's novel "Farewell Anatolia" is a monumental work dedicated to the tragic fate of the Greek communities of Asia Minor, which also references the Armenian Genocide in many sections. Life in Anatolia before the war is depicted as a lost paradise of coexistence among Turks, Greeks, and Armenians, which was ultimately destroyed by the inflammation of nationalist passions. The novel is also a "stinging indictment" against the policies of the great powers that provoked the war and conflict.
