The peculiarity of this work is not that it reexamines the Armenian V century, but that it suggests the reader to think about our past, present and future, agreeing or not agreeing with the views and assessments of the author, clarifying one's own attitude towards the horrifying events that took place in the mentioned century. The core of the book is, of course, Vasak Syuni, a personality whose fate is closely intertwined with the fate of his native country and people. His progress was forcibly stopped, due to which the Armenian country and the Armenian people also suffered irreparable losses. The position of the author is based on rich historical material, the main literature available in the publication on the prince of Syunik is studied.
