Description
One of the greatest representatives of 20th-century political and philosophical thought, Hannah Arendt, herself a Jew who narrowly escaped the clutches of the Nazi regime, was sent to Jerusalem by the American magazine "The New Yorker". Her goal was to document the most "unprecedented" among the trials of major Nazi figures in the catastrophe that began in Nuremberg and was sealed as the "Final Solution" by the Nazi regime, and to undertake what seemed at first glance an impossible task: to report on the banality of evil.
