Description
The historical novel "Quo Vadis" is the love story of a young Christian woman, Ligia, and a Roman patrician, Marcus Vinicius, and reflects historical events that took place during the reign of Emperor Nero in 64 AD. The historical novel was first published as a book in 1896 and has been translated into more than 50 languages. Thanks to this work, H. Sienkiewicz was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1905.
