UNISEX Silver Ring MAYRIK with the geometric ornament inspired by Marash Embroidery from MAYRIK collection.
This collection of rings was called MAYRIK due to the famous film MAYRIK (MOTHER) directed by Henri Verneuil. The film is about an Armenian Family, who could survive after the Armenian Genocide and moved to France. While designing this ring MURADiAN Brand was inspired by the ring of the main hero of the film who has received a beautiful ring from his parents as a heritage gift for applying to the university for high education. The parents of the hero sold their wedding rings and instead of it, they buy a gift for their son to show their love and care And as the hero says, this ring weighs tons of love... It's a wonderful example of showing endless love and dedication of Armenian parents to their children...
The design was created using the ornaments of Armenian Marash Embroidery. Marash was a city of Cilicia in Historical Armenia (Nowadays Turkey), where the Armenians used to do needlework with a special technique, designs, and ornaments typical only to that city.
So later the name of needlework was famous from the city name Marash
. Now Marash Needlework became an inspiration to create this collection of Unisex rings.
It's a way to keep the pattern of Marash needlework alive and world-famous.
