Based on archival facts and scientific studies, the book presents two key historical episodes that befell the Armenian people at the beginning of the 20th century. On one side is the tragic story of the life of Hripsime, a representative of the famous Balyan family and a survivor of the Genocide, and on the other side is the heroic story of the feat of Tachat Hovakimyan, who brought a turning point in the course of the heroic battle of Sardarapat.
