Description
Mio, My Son by Astrid Lindgren describes a magical and poignant tale of self-discovery and adventure. The story begins with Karl Anders Nilsson, an unloved foster child from Stockholm, who is whisked away to Farawayland. There, he learns his true identity as Mio, the son of the King. Mio's joyous reunion with his father is soon disrupted when he discovers an ancient prophecy. Alongside his best friend Pompoo and his golden-maned horse, Miramis, Mio embarks on a perilous journey to confront the tyrannical Sir Kato in the dark Outer Land.
